Ghost Ranch advert…

Just a small blurb about Ghost Ranch that I found interesting…

Ghost Ranch is a Presbyterian-affiliated conference center in Abiquiu, New Mexico. I love Ghost Ranch. I went there several times as a child with my family, and I volunteered there a summer as a College Mission Worker. My wife and I have been there a few times, too..

I was interested when I got an email from them about their fall 07 plans, including this commercial:

I think this is cheesy, frankly, and the voice-over sounds downright scary. But no mention that Ghost Ranch is a Presbyterian conference center? A bit strange. It was paid for in part from a cooperative grant from the New Mexico Department of Tourism, so perhaps that was discouraged. Still….

    Ha. I have a friend who lives in Abiquiu and I have had similar suspicions about Ghost Ranch.
